Dr Maria Florou, BDS
Dr Maria is the host of the YouTube podcast @mind_your_mouth, where she offers insightful information on oral health. She effectively debunks common myths and shares valuable tips to improve dental well-being.
Dr Natalia Trisna
Dentist, BDS, IAO
Dr. Natalia Trisna graduated with honours from the University of Sydney. During her studies, she received numerous academic awards, including the prestigious Colgate Prize for her research in paediatric dentistry, and was invited to present her findings at international conferences. She is a Fellow of the International Association of Orthodontics (IAO) and approaches orthodontic issues with a holistic mindset. She offers a variety of orthodontic solutions for her patients, including removable and fixed appliance therapy, Invisalign, and traditional braces. Additionally, she provides BOTOX treatments to address several issues, such as jaw problems, nighttime grinding, migraines, and tension headaches. She is also highly trained in root canal therapy, as well as crown and bridge work and composite restorations. She is a busy mother of twin girls, very active in the Northern Shores community.

Dr Gita Shonpal
Dentist
Dr. Gita Shonpal graduated from Trinity College Dublin and has been practising in Australia since 2024. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about helping her patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. Known for her gentle and caring approach, she takes pride in putting even the most nervous patients at ease. Gita is dedicated to providing high-quality, modern dental care, focusing on preventative and minimally invasive treatments. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys fitness, yoga, and dance.
Dr Vanessa Ribas,

Dr. Vanessa Ribas Ferreira Schneider was born in Brazil, where she ran her own dental practice for many years before relocating to the Gold Coast with her family. Since moving to Australia, she has worked in private practice and served as a supervisor and tutor at Griffith University Dental School. Passionate about dentistry, Dr. Vanessa has spent the past 18 years treating her patients with care and dedication. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, including root canal therapy and paediatric dentistry.
Mrs Deirdre O'Kane

Mrs. Deirdre O’Kane, a passionate Dental Hygienist, is now making waves at Casuarina Dental! Known affectionately as Dee, she is a beacon of positivity who effortlessly combines relaxation and vibrancy during every appointment with her inviting spirit and enthusiasm. Graduating from the University of Leeds in 2006, Dee brings with her over 17 years of rich experience in dental hygiene and therapy to Casuarina Dental. It’s no surprise that she has cultivated devoted patients and is celebrated for her unique approach—gentle yet meticulous cleaning that leaves a lasting impression.
